Mina Orlic

We are excited to welcome Mina back to our coaching staff!

A San Diego native with nearly a decade of volleyball experience, Mina has grown through the sport as both a player and a coach. Her volleyball journey began with recreational lessons and quickly advanced to competitive club volleyball during her middle and high school years.

Primarily a setter, Mina brings a well-rounded perspective to the court, having played every position except middle blocker throughout her time as a player at LJV. Additionally, she was a two-year starting setter on varsity for University City High School, where she was also captain of the Beach Volleyball Team in her junior and senior years.

Mina has since moved on to coaching and has worked with players of all ages and skill levels. In addition to coaching at LJV, she served as the Freshman Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach for the Girls Volleyball program at Mission Bay High School during the Fall 2024 season. Her experience also extends to organizing and leading youth volleyball summer camps and clinics through UC Elite Volleyball, where she first started her volleyball journey.

Mina recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Multimedia and is thrilled to be back in the gym and coaching the next generation of players!
