Elizabeth Barbara

Originally from Orange County, California, Elizabeth began playing club volleyball at age 11 and quickly developed a passion for the sport. Throughout her seven-year club career, she competed on 1s teams and traveled across the country for tournaments in places including Orlando, Chicago, Houston, and Reno.

She continued her volleyball career at Trabuco Hills High School, where she was a three-year Varsity athlete. After high school, she went on to compete at the collegiate level as a Division III student-athlete at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. During her time at Ohio Northern, she double majored in Exercise Physiology and Strength & Conditioning, further developing her understanding of athletic performance, movement, and athlete development.

She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Athletic Training at San Diego State University, continuing her education and passion for working with athletes.

Elizabeth loves coaching because it gives her the opportunity to introduce younger athletes to the sport she fell in love with at a young age. Volleyball has brought her countless experiences, relationships, opportunities, and places throughout her life, and she hopes to give her athletes that same love for the game while helping them grow both on and off the court.
