Tristin has been playing and coaching volleyball for 15 years. He started his volleyball career as a 2 year varsity starter at Mission Bay High School as an opposite/setter. He then carried his volleyball career over to San Diego Mesa College as an opposite/middle blocker, where he was ranked in the top 10 statistically in his conference for kills and hitting percentage and received Coach’s Award his freshman season. Tristin finished his education at San Diego State University where he graduated with his B.S. in Criminal Justice and was on the Dean’s List.

Tristin continues to enjoy his passion for volleyball through coaching and playing competitive beach volleyball. He’s also the assistant tournament director for all the local San Diego California Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) tournaments and events.

Coach Tristin is excited to come back as the boy’s 14 and under head volleyball coach for LJV. He believes in hard work and dedication in the gym while still maintaining a fun environment for players to learn and get better.
